Extra High Pile Chair Mat

This mat slides across my carpet but not as badly as the medium pile mat did. I measured as website instructed but still have sliding. Per the cost I am frustrated.

Not suitable for 1" pile carpet

This mat was purchased online in early March 2018. I made sure I got the model for 1" pile (including pad). Great shipping the mat arrived the next day.The mat does not have as the description states "Increased thickness makes for less rolling resistance." It is actually very flexible to the extent that the casters on my desk chair dent it (I weigh 155 lbs). These dents make it necessary to "rock" the chair out of them when changing positions. And this is after changing the casters to the recommended "soft" variety. Unfortunately the "lifetime warranty" is for cracks and not sags.I would seek a different manufacturer if I were purchasing this product again. The one I received is made by E. S. ROBBINS though I believe I ordered the Staples brand (as the review request indicates).

It is a good quality mat but it does dimple from the weight of the chair and me when at my computer. Next time I will go for the hard surface mat even though it is more expensive than my chair which I bought at staples.
