A little expensive but seems to be good. My carpet & padding are at most .5 inch thick..Chair rollers do leave small impressions. Time will tell! Delivered on time. Mat was received with 5-6 bent edges from how it was standing in delivery truck. It took about 4 days with heavy books to get them to lay flat. Maybe store pick-up would be better but in convenient.

Saw a comment from a manufacturer that heavier mats works well even on less plush carpets. I'm glad I saw that.

We have purchased 3 different mats unaware they all had the same problem. We live in a new build home and were told to use the high pile carpet mat. Unfortunately it's still flimsy and so thin that even just the weight of our commercial office chair leaves indentations in it. When a person sits in the chair on the mat you sink into the mat so much you have difficulty rolling out of the sunken spot. I guess my husband will have to invent his own mat that isn't so cheaply made... We will be returning it.

Very good however it really isn't made for 1 in pile carpet which is what we have. It needs to be made thicker so it doesn't allow dips in the mat. When you do I'll be in line to buy it . In the mean time change your ad description to: " up to 3/4 in carpet pile".

This is the perfect mat for my husbands office at home. It is great on mid to high pile carpet with curved edges and clear. Everything we were looking for!

I was pretty disappointed after working one day in my home office. I couldn't believe that chair ruts that had already developed. I wouldn't waste your money.

I got the floor mat that was meant for use on a deep pile carpet; even though my carpet is not that thick. This one is super strong and lets my desk (wheeled) chair move very smoothly and should last even longer than the old one. (2 yrs). I had to use a small saber saw to trim off a 12" piece on the end so it would fit in my narrow office space. No problems.
