Too thin to protect carotenoid. Chair coasters end up in rut. Not as advertised.

If you don't mind having to reposition this chair mat daily then it is a good product. It is very durable and will protect my high pile area rug from chair divots.

This chair mat was ordered special to accommodate high pile carpet and doesn't appear to be any better than the chair mats for low and medium carpet that we saw at the store. After sitting on the desk chair there are indentations in the chair mat that make it unable for me to move the wheels on the desk chair which defeats the purpose of having a chair mat. I will be returning this item for a refund.

Great Chair Mat

After reading reviews about the medium pile mats I decided to get the high pile version even though my carpet is medium pile. I'm glad I did because this one is nice and heavy lays flat and allows for easy chair movement.

Decent product poor packaging

Mat was shipped folded up. After laying in the sun and then indoors weighted down with books for 36 hours I finally am able to use it but it is still wavy. Seems heavy enough to do a good job if it ever lays flat.

OK But Should Be Heavier More Rigid

The description says it's for use on carpets up to 1" thick including padding but on my carpet (which qualifies) the chair depresses the mat enough that it won't move easily out of the depression...you have to really forcefully scoot it into moving. The mat is otherwise attractive and protective but it just isn't rigid enough to allow the chair to move easily. When this mat starts to show breakdown it will be replaced with a bamboo one as I have in my second PC location. They're the best!
