The mat stays in place. The beveled edges are smooth & help the chair's wheels return to the mat. I love that it was shipped flat instead of rolled up. Shipping was fast too.

was impressed with this product used a different formula compared to others i have used making it less brittle more pliable.This should last for many years it's nice to get what you pay for once in a while. i would recommend this product

Mats will do the job. Was concerned they were so crinkled but after 2 days spread out on a 95 degree garage floor they flattened right out. Wish shipper had at least rung the door bell when they were delivered instead of leaving them in a heap in the garage.

First off: yes I would recommend this very solid chair pad. I live in an apartment with standard apartment carpeting (medium?). The chair pad stays put with daily use (I weigh 125 lbs) although when you sit in the same position for a while there will be indentations; just move the chair so that the wheels aren't in the same spot all the time. I have had the same type before (but with lip) and it finally started cracking after about 5 or six years. So when I replaced it I decided on one without a lip (a plain rectangle); I figure that when it starts cracking again in a few years (they all do eventually) I can simply turn it around which will double its lifespan. As for shipping it arrived flat -- not rolled -- and very promptly.

Chair moves easily on the mat and the mat does not move on the carpet.
