Pretty good so far

I purchased this mat to replace one that became brittle and cracked after only a year or so (purchased from a different vendor). I was pleased that the mat was delivered "unrolled" and not even a box (I'm a fan of minimal packaging) -- the delivery service brought it right to the door. So far the mat seems to be more flexible and pliable so I hope not to have cracking issues with it.

The mat still gets dimples from my chair and still slides on the carpet even with carpet tape applied around the edges. It is fine but for the price and the advertising I shouldn't have either problem.

This is my third. I have two others that are over 8 years old with nearly daily usage. Sure it's soft but the hard polycorbon one I got from a certain online seller started cracking after 2 years. These are the ones to get if you want a long lasting one.

Terrible floppy useless46x60 medium-pile chair mat

They must be sending different version to people. I was unlucky and got one that was useless. My carpet is low to medium (about 5/8 inches using their paperclip method to measure). I ordered the medium-pile and it was floppy and terrible. The chair alone sinks into it. Sitting on it created little craters where it sank in. I could barely roll out of them and it just makes new ones. The spikes on the bottom were only a millimeter or two thick. I've had much better versions of these mats before. This one is terrible. It's like they sent the cheapest one they had and stuck a medium pile sticker on it. I returned it immediately.
