Sent to work-from-home I put my work computer on a table next to my home computer and moved back and forth noticing that my chair was wrecking my Berber-style carpet. I ordered a mat from online and was surprised that it came rolled up like wall paper. When installed being too soft it DID NOTHING even though I had chosen a thick one. Sent it back ordered this one from Staples- which came shipped sort of curled in half in a large box - but no worries. Set it down it flattened out the teeth held it in place. It's butted up against the mat at the home computer desk and my desk chair can roll back and forth without catching at the crack or damaging my carpet. Success! Would buy it again.

I am dissapointed in the Matt in that the label on it notes it is for carpet so it should not slip (slide) over low pile carpet but it does slide into the desk legs and requires adjusting regularly after sitting at a desk and moving the chair around the desk.

Needed this size for a medium pile carpet...and this fits the bill! The bottom of the mat has interspersed diagonal pegs...not the long pointy pegs...and works well with the carpet; keeps the mat in place. I was not able to purchase this mat in the store; The glue that held the mat into a roll...use rubbing alcohol to take it off the mat. Great purchase!

The mat was shipped to my home. Difficult to pull out of the narrow box and hard to get positioned on my rug by myself. However once I got it down and weighted it relaxed and is nice and flat. Size is great—my rug is protected and my chair rides smoothly when I work at my desk.
