While the mat does protect the carpet and makes rolling the chair easier it gets divots way to quickly. With in the first 3 days already had divots.

not firm enough; limits movement of chair and chair feet leave dents in the mat which no prior mat did. will do until i can replace it.

Our receptionist has been using this for about a month. She is in and out of her chair often and this seems like it will take a lot of wear. Nice wide mat chair doesn't roll off the edge.
