we use it at our computer desk on hardwood flooring it helps that the chair does not scratch the floor.

It Really Works!

We have really plush carpet 1 inch thick with a 1/2 inch pad. Previous chair mats would indent and crack. We have only had this mat a few weeks but after daily use it still is in good shape and supports the chair with out give or indentations. Time will tell after the plastic has aged if it will start cracking or not but for the price it's the best one out there for plush carpet. Maybe the only one.

Hardwood chair mat

I needed a chair mat to protect recently installed laminate wood flooring this mat fits the bill. The size is right my chair rolls well on it and the price was the best I could find online. I've only had the mat for a few days but so far I'm very happy with it.
