Purchased item to place under desks to save the carpet from all the mess from workers shoes. So far it's doing a good job. Only drawback I see with these is that they tend to be a little fragile/break more easily than I like. Didn't purchase in stores because of that (and they didn't have enough stock). 1 out of the 9 we bought were broken so that's not bad; I would just like to see them not broken before they're even used.

Chairmat doesn't hold on my carpet

This is the second one I bought and I bought it because it claimed it would not creep - but it can creep 4 or 5 inches a day and has to be moved frequently. All of them at Staples seem to use the same thing to hold them in place and they don't work. The old ones did.

it is sorta thin but if you are not too heavy it does the job. Too much weight causes permanent dents and later breaks in the mat.

i think this would be better used on a wood or tiled floor. i have it on a carpet and it is too soft for the chair to roll smoothly. it's not the mat itself i just chose the wrong kind. i really need something stiffer.

Good mat for home use

This is a good mat for home office use. There was a struggle at first to get it to lay flat but use of other chairs/objects for weight helped to accomplish it in half an hour.
