product too light for my application

Product is good but too light for application over carpet. Wheels of chair cause bumps and impede easy moving. I wiil trade up to your heavier model.

It serves its purpose but it is too thin. The chair leaves permanent impressions which makes it look bad.

Economical - does the job

True - if you are going to use it on a thicker carpet at home for example This is not the perfect chair mat - The cleats are too short and the chair will leave "dents" where its wheels are and where you sit. However the dents pretty much bounce back. The mats made for thicker carpets are twice the cost so this solution certainly works if you cannot afford the others. Rolling an office chair around is much easier now with this mat than without.

Returning Chair Mat - Not Resilient

I am disappointed in this chair mat. It retains the imprint of the chair wheels - even if no one has been sitting in it. It goes back to the store tomorrow

Unfortunately it will not stay where we put it. It is on a very old smooth commercial floor covering. We have had to tape it down or it migrates and develops a high ripple when furniture stops its movement. That ripple has resulted in serious some serious trips.
