Better than "usual" kind

Used this kind of self sealing envelope for first time recently and after getting over initial confusion ("Where's the peel off strip?") I discovered I loved them. Plus no waste--better for the ecology and all that!

I bought 5 boxes of these and even though they work nice not any of the boxes had 500 in them. Of the 2500 I was suppose to get I only got 2468

The glue is barely sticky the envelopes are barely stuck together before we get ready to seal them. I don't know if this was a bad batch but seeing these reviews about how well they work makes me think so. We are having to use tape to make sure they even close before we mail them. We had a different kind prior with a smaller flap and they were much much better than these. I don't know what they were but I will have to find them. These are unusable.
