This expanded envelope allows a wider variety of items to be stored in a single location. The envelope flap does not have a metal clasp or glued underside but the bottom flap is cleanly cut unlike the zagged edges on smaller Staples envelopes. The paper is not very thick yet sturdy enough to protect its contents. My sole disappointment is the high price.

Most people probably don't need 25 very large envelopes at a time. Staples needs to carry packs of 10. Serving customers at a fair price has given way to corporate convenience.
