Great for large printed items

I work for a national nonprofit that has large 11x17 posters that we distribute to our constituents. Its hard to find envelopes/folders to ship/present these items in. After making my own make shift way to mail them I searched the office stores high and low. I ran across these envelopes @ Staples. The only con is its ungummed but that's minor..just tape it closed.

I use these to store Tax receipts. I like the fact that they are large. I dislike the fact that thet tear so easy. I would not recommend this exact size to a friend maybe a smaller size that seals.

Paper seems to thin to really protect contents but it was the only type Staples had that would fit my contents and I had to buy a pac kaged quantity but only needed two.. expensive.

Great for Shipping Large Items

I know these envelopes are for large documents but I use them in my online business for shipping large items like placemats and flags. The unique and extra large size is pefect to accomodate larger items without having to bend or fold them. I usually cut a large piece of cardboard to put inside to make sure the Postal Carrier cannot bend the envelope and although they are ungummed I can easily secure with shipping tape. Because the items that I ship are light weight I pay no more than $3 or $4 to ship. Consider these extra large envelopes for more than just document storage.
