I am happy with my Cuisinart coffee maker except I don't believe the hot plate keeps the coffee hot enough after it's brewed and sits for awhile.

This is our second exact same model 12 Cup Cuisinart Programmable coffee maker. The first lasted about 10 years and I replaced the hoses inside for a final year of service. The circuit board & timer ultimately failed and the entire unit was replaced with the same model, which means we have a spare carafe. This unit has the features we like and make great coffee.

This is the third identical unit I have purchased — the two previous units eventual developed main on/off switch problems and were pitched. Not sure if you can make a better switch. The units are excellent in every way, Easy to use with all the right features ... used at least once or twice daily
