We had one just like this unit.,but it was made in Germany and lasted a long time.this unit is made in China,so we will see what it does for longevity..can not recommend it until later on..

A little pricey but makes a great cup of coffee. I think the cone shape makes a better brew then a basket. I bought this as my Braun died after about 20 years.

We had a nearly identical coffee pot that lasted for 12 years. This new one seems just fine. The only complaints I have are that the only measuring levels are located inside the pot where you pour the water. The last part had easy to read markings on the outside. Also, the black lid provided didn’t fit so I am using my old lid.

This one replaces another just like it that we used and loved for years. Interestingly, just this morning, I had a minor malfunction that caused the water to back up in the coffee chamber. Probably my fault. Must be sure everything is lined up just so.
