This is the third one I've bought and I wouldn't think of buying a different brand. The first one I bought lasted over 10 years, which I consider way longer that the expected lifespan of a coffeemaker. The second one I bought for a gift for my son and he loves it as well. Easy to use, predictable quality of every pot of coffee.

Cuisinart is the BEST. I have owned 2 different models just because I went on vacay & used this particular model at the condo where we were staying & I HAD to have one! (Gave the other model to my Mother & she loves it too! lol)

This Brew Central makes great coffee, however, this in no outside visible cup water level on the outside of the brewer. I need to put it in the sink in order to see how much water I need to pour. That is very inconvenient.

This is my second one. The first one lasted over 6 years. However, this one is making popping sounds and other sounds, which the other one did not. Am concerned about why it's making those kinds of noises. Have had it only a couple months. Would like to return it.

This is my 2nd Cuisinart 1200 it makes perfect coffee,is easy to use and is very durable.The reason for replacing the first one was that it was 6 yrs old and the hot plate would keep the coffee only warm after initial start
