Purchased another when my previous one died after a thunderstorm. Bought a cheap off brand and regretted it deeply, missed the ability to alter the warming plate temp, missed the filtered water resivour, missed the great taste and dripless carafe.

This is my second one and I love this coffee maker! Would still be using my first one except the coffee pot broke and a replacement cost was ok but for a little more money, I could buy a whole new unit.

I like the size it fits under my kitchen cabinet and is narrow. I do not like that you cannot see the water level from the outside, you have to look into the water level. This is not a good design.

I owned one of these and loved til it just stopped working. My parents bought us another as a gift and it also stopped working. Very sad for the price.
