Once you read the manual and use the numerous functions a few times, this is very easy to operate. I use the auto setting and wake up to a wonderful coffee aroma.
Cleaning is easy, just be careful washing the glass carafe. As I only brew 2-4 cups most days, having that option is convenient. Brews delicious coffee all the time.
One thing I've had to do is check to be sure the top is secure and tight or coffee doesn't flow into carafe. I sometimes don't put the coffee basket down far enough. I use a filter in the basket for easier and quicker clean up. Highly recommend this product.

I actually did purchase the coffeemaker a month ago. The coffee is delicious and stays hot, you can adjust the warmer plate. The carafe pours perfectly with no spilling, a great design on the spout and cap.
I do have a problem with the opening for the adding the water. It is not large enough and I really would have appreciated a clear gage as it is difficult to see inside, especially when making another half pot to add to the original brewing,
