For years I have been using the same popular coffee maker. Every few years, even though I clean it several times a year eventually it gives up the ghost. So I order a new one that again lasts 2-3 years. So after the last one died, I decided to upgrade. Several friends recommended Cuisinart. After a few weeks I’m so pleased. Not only is it fast, it makes great tasting coffee.

I’ve been buying coffee makers for over 45 years. They typically burned out on me in two years. Once bought cuisines I never bought anything else. This is my third coffee maker and I’m very satisfied with the performance. The last two both lasted about nine years each. I am a very satisfied and loyal customer now.

It brews great coffee. The bells and whistles are all nice, but would not matter if the coffee was not brewed well. It took a minute to figure out the programming, but once understood, it is easy to program. We went from a thermal carafe to this hot plate and were worried about the coffee burning, but it is not a problem. The coffee stays hot. The warmer shuts off automatically, so turning it off is worry-free. One reviewer mentioned how little steam is emitted during brewing. Very true. 10 cups of water yields 10 cups of coffee. We are completely happy with purchase.

THIRD ONE I HAVE PURCHASED FOR ME OR FAMILY MEMBERS. Baskets in all three; the mesh cracks but still works fine. I always use filters. Keep up the great quality. Make sure you support the coffee growers.
