Pros & Cons of 12 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker

I replaced my old 12 cup Cuisinart coffeemaker after many years, with the new one. It brews good coffee but has one major flaw - the water measurements are on the inside of the coffeemaker instead of the outside, making it difficult to know how much water you’re putting it. There are measurements but they’re very difficult to see. I chose not to return it and have learned workarounds to figure out more easily how much water I’m putting in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My new Cuisnart coffee brews excellent coffee. Two problems I had right out of the box where the clock was backwards in that it showed PM in the morning and vice versa. The clock would start brewing at 6:00PM after being set for 6:00AM. I used the auto timer this way for a few days until the clock began resetting itself for random times. I then began starting the brew manually in the morning. The other problem is that the coffee pot lid does not fit properly. The lid does not securely snap down the way it was designed to do, making it necessary to hold the lid down with my thumb.
