This is a very reliable device. The last one lasted over 10 years, the only issue is the start button became unreliable, sometimes not working. If I was motivated i would have replaced the switch but my time is more valuable than replacing it. The price with discount was worth it.

I've previously owned this style of coffee maker beginning when I renovated my kitchen over 25 years ago. The orientation of the sink and upper cabinets created a specific footprint where I wanted to locate my coffee maker and this one fit the bill. The coffee maker is easy to program and use and it makes a great cup of coffee. I love the retro styling of the knobs and toggle power switch. The black stainless steel is beautiful!

The carafe cover does not click closed, so I have to hold it in place while pouring coffee. It’s likely a manufacturing flaw, but the quality control is disappointing.

I bought this same coffee maker in or around 2010 and it lasted me almost 10 years. Then I bought a new Cuisinart coffee maker and it only lasted about 6 years. So I bought the one that's been discontinued. Hoping for at least 10 years! 🙏🤞
