like the dcc-3200 better. Years ago, we had this model, dcc-1200. it lasted about 10 years. then we switched to the dcc-3200. we like strong coffee and much prefer the brew of the "bold" setting. So, sent this dcc-1200 back b/c it tasted like weak coffee otherwise adding more grounds to the filter caused it to dump grounds into the coffee pot.

This is my second Cuisinart Brew Central. My first one was a perfect coffee maker, so that is why i didn't have to think about reading reviews and finding another brand of coffee maker. i've even given our daughter one when her old coffee maker gave up the ghost. It's great!

Best coffeemaker, hands down! I’ve owned one of these for a LONG time! I have to admit I tried a well-known competitor’s coffeemaker in between, and was terribly disappointed! Quality was okay, but the design of the maker AND the carafe, made me wish it would break so I could go back to my Cuisinart! It did, soon enough, and I’m back! This coffeemaker is built like a tank, great design, easy to use, and my coffee is perfect every morning! Who can ask for more?!

This is my second Cuisinart of the same model. The first one was over 10 yers old and started smoking. I knew it was time for another one. However, on the new one, the lid doesn’t seem to fit tightly. Am I doing something wrong? i never had this issue with the other one!
