I bought this model to replace a similar one that lasted six years. It's just the right size and doesn't use too much counter space. The metal filter is great and I sometimes couple it with a paper filter for quick cleanup. I also brew loose tea with more than satisfactory results. I really like the timer and auto-brew feature when I want coffee or tea waiting for me first thing in the morning.
