I purchased this as a replacement for an earlier, nearly identical model. There have been several design improvements, all but one are great improvements. The only exception is elimination of the side water level window. It was replaced by a series of “internal steps” which are hard to read the water level mainly because they are inside the reservoir/tank in a relatively dark area.

We love this coffee maker. Reason for four stars is that when you lift the lid to pull out the used filter, some water will drip down the back. Tucking a paper towel around the bottom of the lid takes care of that but we finally found a coffee maker that gives you coffee with the grounds!

This is my third cuisine art coffee maker. The last two lasted about 10 years each and makes great coffee. I like this coffee maker so much I purchased two of them one for my home and one for my cabin. You can’t go wrong with this product.

The coffee is still great but there is no visible water line (it’s inside and hard to see) I also do t like the switch to turn the machine off. I’ve had Cuisinart coffee makers and this is very very least favorite
