We've had this model (as it's updated) three times now. First one was in the states, then another when we moved broad, and now this one upon our return to the states. It is a reliable coffee maker. The reason I give it three stars is because it shares a flaw with most other drip-style coffee makers: It is a real pain in the @%# to clean the water chamber. Also, it is not quite easy to pour the water into the water chamber if you use the pot that comes with it - I often miss just a bit as I begin pouring (making a wet mess sometimes) and the pot always has just a bit of water left that you can't pour out. Again - we've bought this same model over and over because of its reliability. It's a good coffee maker. But I really hope they eventually improve the flaws I listed.

This is our 3rd Cuisinart. Best tasting coffee ever. Like the settings available such as: start & ending, coffee temperature, etc. Glass container has strong vinyl rim which prevents breakage. We would never purchase any other coffeemaker.

This new coffeemaker replaces its twin, which has brewed great coffee daily for 20 years or so. I have another in a vacation rental and a third in a summer cottage. My grown children have bought Cuisinarts to replace the flaky pots they received as wedding presents. The features are comprehensive and the controls are easy to understand and use. I’m amazed there are any other coffee maker models in the store.

This is a pretty good coffee maker. We usually dont make more than 4 cups at a time so the selection for using this smaller amount works nicely. The heating element keeps the coffee nice and hot. We are not using any of the programmable features. Only negative comment pertains to not really being able to see how much water has been added. While the numbers are in white, the black plastic makes if almost impossible to see the water level particularly in lower amounts.
