Everything’s fine on this machine except for one thing, and it’s a big thing. It’s filling the Reservoir that’s difficult. It’s such a small area. I have decided to use a funnel to assist direct the water in and not let it splash into the coffee grounds filter area.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Over the years I have purchased this model Cuisinart coffee maker multiple times. For my home and as gifts to other coffee loving family members. You can program the time, select the temperature for the carafe, it just brews deliciously from a smaller amount to full pot. Please do not change this rasy to use model.

Carafe pours without leaking and keeps coffee warm all day. Our glass carafe on last Cuisinart leaked. On the negative, noise when brewing is like a loud metronome. Seems the noise is from the lid but can’t adjust to stop. Any tips are welcomed to help quiet this down unless it’s Ts a design flaw.

Makes good coffee but the system for measuring water input is awful! My other coffee maker had glass one side so you could see the amount of water being poured into the reservoir. This one requires you to look inside the reservoir at a weird metered measuring stick. It is very difficult to read, especially for the lower number of cups I prefer (4-6). Why the designers thought this was better I will never know. Cusinart is a good coffee maker but this measuring system stinks.
