Our old Brew Central was damaged by a massive power surge. We replaced with the same unit. These brewers simply get the job done. We set the carafe temp low with the convenient knob on the front since this keeps the coffee warm without burning it. When you pour coffee this carafe doesn't drip all over your table. I've seen coffee makers that cost three times as much that don't brew coffee any better, but drip and spill every time you pour. Simply love it!
