We originally had this same model for years. When it stopped working we bought another one. The setting to grind only 3 tbs of coffee used to be around 6 - the new one about 12. We sent it back because we thought we would burn the motor out. It was replaced but the replacement is almost the same. Not sure if I would recommend buying this.

This replaced a Cuisinart coffee maker that lasted 17 years and made excellent coffee. The new one is made of thin plastic and in order to get a good cup of coffee, I have to add more coffee to less water. Would love advice on getting a good pot of coffee without using an excess amount of coffee.

This coffee maker is great! This is my second Cuisinart coffee maker. The first one was given to me as a hand-me down and lasted another 2 years after a long life of 16+ years. I wouldn’t have any other coffee maker.

Easy to use. Coffee is tasty and hot. Drawbacks: Carafe lid should be a flip top and water reservoir opening is too small and top lid interferes with getting a good aim. Other than that, I'm pleased with my purchase.
