I've used cusinart for over 10 years, finally had to replace coffee maker, the on and off switch quit working, I took it apart and fixed it temporarily, was just wore out. Bought another one I was real happy because they do not change their products up, it was identical to the one I bought 12 years ago and very satisfied durable product, doesn't break the bank either

There are a few things that needc improvement: 1) need a water reservior that is attached to the side that you can see, 2) the numbers on the carafe are so light it is hard to see where the water level is, 3) I have a coffee bar under a cabinet that is quite high, but the top opening of the machine for coffee and water reservior is too high which makes me have to pull out the whole pot.

This is my 3rd one in 9 years so I must like them. On the other hand 2 have broke. Once the pump and this time the clock quit but since we use the automatic function, it doesn't work for my use. Keep buying the same model since I like having a spare carafe. Use Starbucks coffee but can't make over 10 cups because using more than 10 tablespoons of coffee will overflow the basket during the brewing. Maybe another type/grind of beans would be better but just like taste of Starbucks Pike.

Too many buttons; they could be organized better to make it easier to use. Also, hard to read the small dials in a dark kitchen in the early morning. Lastly, I miss the floating ball my old coffee maker had to show volume in the tank. However, the carafe is sturdy and the maker achieves the purpose of brewing coffee.
