This unit replace a previous Cuisinart coffee maker I had for many years.... Brewing is great!! But the "retro toggle switch" seems very cheap and the no back lit display is very veryhard to see or read.... The carafe doesn't have a sensor to detect that there is still coffee in it .. must be preset for fixed intervals. I didn't notice at the time but this "style" for the same price also comes in another version that has all the features mentioned above.. do get that one instead.. just my opinion.

Best brewed coffee from this machine. They last for years, providing thousands of pots of fresh brew. Way cheaper than visiting local coffee vendors.This replaced our last daily use machine that gave us 7 years of faithful service. Reusable gold filter is a great feature too!
