Replaced my original Cuisinart coffee maker with the exact same model except in stainless instead of black. The on/off switch went on the original & would have liked to have a simple fix instead of replacing the entire unit, but do like the simple yet efficient brew so ordered another through the company & I'm satisfied w/ the quick delivery.

This is my third Brew Central coffee maker.
I like the options available...the 1to4 cup brew, the carafe warming temperature options and the adjustable hour shut off . I do feel that the carafe temperature setting on my latest model is not as hot as my previous Brew Central coffee makers. A bit disappointed. I like my coffee HOT!

This Coffeemaker was purchased to replace an earlier Cuisinart the failed (blew out a rubber line) while de-calcifying. The old unit allowed selection of BOLD or nor Bold. The new unit lacks this feature. Consequently the coffee comes less than satisfying (weak). By adding a paper filter, in addition to the Gold filter, residence time (how long the water takes to pass through the coffee) is longer. The resulting coffee comes out bolder.
