This is the second Cuisinart coffee pot I have purchased. It makes the water extremely hot which makes great coffee. This newer version is easier to fill than the previous one. The old coffee maker’s warming plate got worn after five or six years so I replaced it. Cuisinart makes a good quality coffeemaker.

This coffeemaker replaced a similar model made by Cuisinart. This model has a much wider water intake area that precludes spilling while filling. Another improved feature is the heating element that appears to be more robust than the previous model, which eventually corroded and had to be replaced. The button display is larger and clearer than the old model. In summary, Cuisinart improved this model over the last one and the coffee still tastes great.

Excellent unit, except for the weak on-off switch.

We've owned three of these and overall we like them. Very easy to use and clean, coffee tastes good and stays warm. Our only complaint is that the on-off switch fails too soon. We threw away the first one when the switch failed, we're on our third one, and I've repaired the second one to keep as a spare. The repair is tedious due to the need to unseal then reseal the circuit board. If the on-off switch lasted longer, I wouldn't hesitate to give it 5 stars.

Hard to see water amount unless completely filled. Very cheap stainless used. Print couldn't be much smaller on front. Does make good coffee though and that's the most important thing.
