We've had several Cuisinart coffee makers in the past. They are the best ! We have other Cuisinart kitchen devices and the Cuisinart quality is built into every one. This coffee maker is the same model we had one other time. It's simple, easy to operate and makes great tasting coffee.

Had the non-thermal carafe version of this coffee maker and was happy with it. The thermal carafe version seems to have a few issues. The basket that holds the coffee filter doesn't click into place. That stops the coffee flow out of the basket. Came down to the kitchen one morning and there was coffee all over the place. Pouring coffee from the carafe is also interesting, very slow and it's impossible to get the last cup or so without removing the top.

Good product. The first one we bought had a clock issue where the clock ran fast and ended up making my 0445 coffee at midnight and I awoke to cold coffee. Opening the top drips water all over the counter behind the machine. Lid to decanter is a strange design and is annoying to put back on. Coffee is good though. I like the timer and auto off feature. Our precious coffee maker only had an on/off switch.
