We have had this same model for at least 10 years at our home. After another vendor's coffee maker failed (internal failure causing it to leak) in less than a year, we sought out another of this Cuisinart model for the vacation home. So far, that has proven to be a good decision.

I owned a Cuisinart and it made great coffee for years. This one is mediocre at best. The coffee isn't very strong and it doesn't stay hot for long after perking. The hot plate is on high. I tried to return it but I kept it too long.

love it! the coffee and appearance overall is very good, the only thing i'd like for this is to be able to see the amount of water. you have to look inside to make sure how much water you are pouring or use a measuring pot since you can not see from outside...
