This is our third Cuisinart 12-cup coffee maker and replaces one we gave to a friend. The coffee from these is always excellent, seeminly the perfect drip ratio. The ability to program a turn-on time means there is fresh coffee ready to go the minute one wakes up in the morning. Reliability is excellent, about 7 years per pot with daily use. Best of all when living ion the woods is that the power hiccups we have frequently will not change the automatic turn-on time unless the outage lasts more than 10 minutes or so..

The carafe was scraped and had to be replaced. The top wouldn’t fit tightly and leaked water and coffee whenever it was poured. Very disappointing.

This is the only coffeemaker I will buy. I've tried a couple other brands, but none of them measure up to the Cuisinart. I look forward to my morning cup of coffee made in my pretty red Cuisinart every day. It is easy to use...and one of the best things that I like, is that the lid comes off of the glass carafe, making it easy to clean. I hate the ones where the lid is attached to the carafe. Very inconvenient. Keep making this feature on the Cuisinart. I wish you made blue coffeemakers. I am a true fan of the Cuisinart products.

Brew Central just replaced my many years old & less expensive Mr Coffee, so hope it proves to be as long lasting. It appears to be good quality, which I would expect from Cuisinart & looks great on the counter top. Most importantly, it makes a great tasting cup of coffee, using the basket & 1 charcoal filter provided. Not sure why the replacement charcoal filters are quite so costly for what they are, but will continue to purchase. I thought I wouldn't like that the lid has to be removed instead of just flipped to fill the carafe, but the trade off is that water doesn't spill all over when pouring to fill to brew, so that's a good thing! It has all of the features one might want being programmable, & a heat adjustment for the carafe temp as well. This unit had good reviews, & so far I would echo the same!

This machine has performed excellent so far.. You do not need to add alot of coffee for it to be strong because of the V shaped filter. I like it .. Also it shows you how long the heater will be on .

More expensive than some brands but keeps serves/keeps coffee nice and hot. Hopefully it will last longer than the 3 Mr. Coffees I had that made the 1 year warrantee then died. This one is warranteed 3 years. I like that it tells you how long it's been on. Auto off in 2 hours but you can always start again.
