Three weeks and counting. Bought this one to replace the older Cuisinart we had for seven years. Wanted basic one with cone filter...hard to find. Easy to use, makes good coffee. I use our own filtered water, plus a measuring cup. The water level gauge is a joke! I can't fathom why Cuisinart put that in, as you cannot see where the water is, especially if you just want four cups. Overall like the unit!

Decided after getting 8 good years from my last Cuisanart Coffee Maker, I'd try it again. To my delight the latest version is even better. Coffee is ready at 6 a.m. every morning and it is brewed well. The new design of the carafe is much easier on my 75 year old wrists. Thanks for listening to your customers and improving the coffee maker every year.

This coffee maker has a setting on it for 1-4 cups which makes for delightfully strong coffee when desired. The setting for carafe warmth is also great since we each drink our coffee at different times in the morning and knowing it’s still hot is excellent. The auto-brew means the coffee is freshly made when we get up - a nice luxury!

Our previous Cuisinart 12 cup coffeemaker lasted 11 years when the switch suddenly gave out. I was pleased to learn that the same model was still available. So far, this coffeemaker appears to be of comparable high quality as the last one. I hope it lasts as long.
