I have always loved the Fenix line up from Garmin. The first gen Apple Watch was my first smart watch, the battery life was a major limitation and I got into fitness I drifted away to the realm of Garmin. Started with a forerunner and then a Fenix 5 Pluse then a Fenix 6 and the Epix 2. I absolutely enjoy the Amoled screen and the touchscreen additions compared to the Fenix 6. If you are fitness focused then Garmin is the way to go and if you want a Shiny screen then Epix Gen 2 is the way to go.

Great update

I had been a fenix fan for most of the series life but used an apple watch for daily use for a short time for work purposes and loved the apple screen, but the epix screen and giving a solid weeks worth of battery life with the screen. Perfect. I really love how maps look when out hiking such better user experience.

I had the Fenix 6x Pro before and I enjoyed it a lot, and now with the Epix2 I really love the screen and many new features with the display... a perfect watch to use outdoors and indoors all the week...

Almost perfect!

I’ve always loved the Fenix series watches. The is almost exactly the same except with a vibrant oled color screen. Works great in sunlight also! I am currently getting about 7 days out of the battery.

I’ve had 4 garmin models, and the Epix is simply the best , and it’s not close. Too many pluses to mention in the review, but just the screen makes it worth the extra expense.

It's all about OLED!

The OLED display was the last thing to dominate all other watches. I've previously used the Fenix 2, Epix (gen 1), Fenix 3, Fenix 6X, and now the Epix (gen 2). What a progression! The display truly is fantastic for day-to-day, indoor or outdoor use. Maps are punchy and vibrant. The rest of the features are identical to the Fenix 7 lineup which is to say, very great!

Love the Display!

The Epix bridges the gap between a super attuned fitness equipment apparatus and a cool Apple watch. The Amoled display is easy to view in sunlight, and various watch faces are easily changed on the app.
