Makes good coffee. The 1st 2 cups of coffee poured from a full pot, runs down the caraf. Pour your coffee over the sink if you can or you will have a mess. Now, instead of making a full 14 cup pot, i just make a 12 cup pot. I think it is a design issue with the snap on lid. Informed Cuisinart.

We purchased this 14 cup coffee pot to replace an 18 cup (that we can no longer get). We have been impressed with the quickness of the brew, the ability to have the bold button (we like our coffee strong) and that we actually get all 14 cups (we haven't always had that in the past). This gets us both out the door with our brew in a timely manner!

The coffee is delicious. The flexibility to select a reusable filter or a paper filter is a wonderful idea. We love the reusable filter for saving the environment. The coffee pot size is perfect for a larger group unless one has a need for a 30-cup coffee maker for a larger event. It is easy to clean.
It would be nice if the water chamber was a little wider so that it would fit under the water spout in a refrigerator. Using filtered water from the refrigerator to make the coffee preserves the coffee maker and saves on the coffee pot filters.

I wish they would last longer than 3 to 4 years
I wish when the coffee is done the 5 beeps are not loud enough
Also would like too see it was Bluetooth because I get up at different times

This is my second purchase of the same model…I love it that much. The first one lasted us 10 years and the unit still worked but we broke the carafe. We had kept the 12 cup one from the original Cuisinart pot and while we could use it, we had to be careful with positioning. It was time for a new one and there didn’t seem to be another model we were interested in for features, and we love the 14 cup capacity. Lasting at least 10 years previously is key, and the price point is still reasonable so it was an easy choice. Very happy.
