the brew time is about the same as our previous coffee maker. its a lot better to move around on the counter top. quality of coffee brew is the same. but the pot itself is not the greatest you have to be very careful not to dribble .

I continue to be happier with drip coffee pots, then a pod type. I held onto my old Cuisinart for much too long and the coffee was starting to taste bitter. I finally switched to this newer pot and it makes a huge difference. My coffee is smooth, taste very pleasing, and I have the ability to change the strength and the heat of the hot plate. The only reason I gave it 4-star instead of a five is that I often use the 1 to 4 cups setting and when I do, there is quite a lot of condensation in the carafe. This is a 14 cup replacement for an 12 and although I tried to find a 12 cup Cuisinart, I could not find one that suited me. The 12 cup never had that condensation issue.

We started it out with this model as a 12 cup. Then we replaced it with the 14 cup same model though. And now we replaced the 14 cup with the 14 cup model. Yes we love this model. It’s perfect. It bruise an awesome cup of coffee.
