This was a replacement for another Cuisinart pot that was a replacement for another Cuisinart pot.
I have only one complaint: it continues to bubble and squeak after the brew cycle is complete. This lasts a few minutes and then all is quiet. Coffee is brewed great, even when I made one cup. My formula is simple: eight ounces of water per one coffee measure, two tablespoons, of coffee.

Hot plate on duration is only 2 hours. My Mr Coffee was 4 hours & that was perfect.
You have to take the carafe lid all the way off to add water.
The water reservoir opening is very small and awkward to get to.
Don't think I'll be buying another Cuisinart.

I’m very happy with my new Cuisinart coffee maker. Each piece of the unit is well designed. The water filter is a unique feature I appreciate. When the coffee is ready, three tones are heard. When the heat goes off, three tones are heard. The directions are clear. When it is time to clean the unit, there is a separate button labeled “Clean” which will help facilitate the process.

A nice but quirky coffee maker. This is my 2nd or 3rd one of these. A pot a day until something eventually wears out, then replace it with the same model. I've tried cheaper coffee makers with fewer features and they don't make nearly as good of a cup of coffee.
