It makes a good cup of coffee but the machine itself is VERY noisy while it is brewing. Kinda sounds like a fork in a garbage disposal. Not sure if that's normal with this model? Also it makes about 1-2 less cups of brewed coffee than water added so be sure to compensate when adding water. There is a LOT of steam so don't put it near cabinets as it might damage or warp the wood. The brewed coffee is good though. I wouldn't buy this model again, but it'll do for a while.

My old Cuisinart coffee maker died and I needed to get a new one. Chose not to try a different brand because this one was dependable and made great coffee. So I purchased the same model and continue to enjoy the features of this model especially the programmable and bold options.
