I have purchased Cuisinart coffeemakers previously and when it was time to buy a new pot, I immediately wanted another one. This pot is basic (no grinder or 2nd pot) but I like that I can make the temperature hot and keep the coffeemaker on for 4 hour segments.

The lid isn’t made right. When it opens and closes, it sounds like it’s going to fall apart. It doesn’t close smoothly at all! Very defective!

I enjoy this coffee pot when I am making the full pot. However when you are just making 2 cups, it is actually a little hard to pour it from the spout. I also do put a coffee liner in it or else there is too much coffee residue at the bottom of the carafe. Does keep the coffee hot in the carafe for a good period of time.
