I have had several Cuisinart coffee makers over the years, and this one makes the hottest coffee which is how I like it. It has adjustment for those that want it cooler. Controls are simple to use. Love it.

Love that it brews 14 cups - just the right amount for the two of us! Perfect brew every time. The warmer doesn’t burn the coffee. The carafe doesn’t seem to be as fragile as other glass carafes. I was excited to have the strong brew option for my blonde roast but I’m not sure it made a real difference. Small batch is nice, though. 99/100!

Nice coffee maker. Only issue I have had is twice the filter basket was not all the way down in the opening (you have to press it down hard) and as the coffee brewed, it stayed in the filter basket and filled up rather than dripping into the pot. Quite a mess so now I double check that every morning. Otherwise I’m pleased with my gift.
