We love our new coffee maker! It's easy to program, has an option for either regular or bold brew and the coffee stays hot. There's also a selection of how hot you want the coffee to be which is great. It's also compact, streamlined and classy in appearance.

I love being able to program the coffee maker and select the heat setting for the coffee. The coffee is done when I get up and if I don’t drink it immediately it stays hot in my cup for a longer time period.

We love the aesthetics of this coffeemaker, and we're very pleased with the 'steam control' -- there's very little steam that comes off the top of this coffeemaker, allowing it to be placed under cabinets without worry that the steam will damage the bottom of the cabinetry. There's only one criticism: while brewing, the process produces continuous, loud 'clunking' sounds, likely as a direct result of the rising, boiling water as it's moved from the reservoir to the drip area ('shower head'). If this sound could be controlled better, this coffeemaker would easily earn 5 stars!

Unfortunately the unit I bought had some problems. The hot plate rusted and the it stopped heating the coffee, it would only warm it. I called BedBath &Byond but they referred me to Cuisanart. They agreed to replace it which is good but it took a very long time to get the replacement unit. I'm glad they replaced it. New one seems to be ok but it's very new. The prior one was just over a year old. I've had two previous Cuisanart units whith no issues. Would buy again.
