This was bought as a replacement of a previous Cuisanart that died after many years of service. This brews coffee well, and has a better panel and better setting options than our previous unit. My only comment is that this unit noticeably makes much more noise while brewing than our old unit. Marketing wise, our old unit was 12 cup and all that we needed, but there was no 12 cup upgrade available, so we ended up with this slightly larger 14 cup unit, which is more than what we needed. We typically make 10 cups and this larger unit handles it well.

Bought a white one. Makes coffee ok but carafe broke and there is NO white 14 cup replacement made, only black.

Makes great coffee. Like that it has a permanent filter so we’re not wasting paper filters daily. Love the capacity and that we can interrupt the cycle to pour. Only minor complaint is pouring in the water is a little awkward.

It does a good job making coffee and keeping it hot. It's a little difficult to see how much water you're pouring in when preparing a pot. Also, the carafe feels extremely thin and would be nicer if it had a hinge on it. Overall, we are pleased with our coffee maker.
