We absolutley love this coffeemaker. We have been purchasing this model for many years. It is simple to use and makes a great cup of coffee. Easy to maintain with the clean mode and we can change the filters easily. Cuisinart is always there for questions or issues and I always register it right away so that if there are any issues, you are in their system and they will totally stand behind their product. I recently had an issue with mine after a few years and because it was registered, they recognized me immediately and replaced my coffeemaker for a brand new one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I do like the design and function of this coffee maker. That said, the hot plate started to rust after only a few months of use. I expect better from Cuisinart.

LOVE that it makes 14 cups instead of only 12. Does everything it claims to do. Just make sure you hear the plastic filter holder SNAP into place, or you will have grounds overflowing the basket. Also, #4 cone filters are just a tad small to accommodate a full 14-cup helping of ground coffee, and #6 cone filters are just a little too big for the filter holder. Easy solution: use the #6 filter & fold about an inch along one side and about 1/2 inch across the bottom.
Biggest complaint: the white measurement markings on the side of the carafe started washing away (with HAND washing!) by about the third washing. For as much as this machine costs, such a simple thing to not get right is unacceptable. I had to go back over the very faint marks with a black permanent Sharpie. I just hope it's as permanent on glass as it is everywhere else.

Bought this 14 cup as a replacement for our 12 cup that lasted us a long time. Still a great coffee maker but does occasionally drip when you are pouring the water into the reservoir even if you go slowly. It’s almost like the lid needs to open up just a tiny bit farther and it would never happen. Still a great machine!

I have bought four of these over the years for two different houses. They work very well for me with paper filter. I used to make French Roast Coffee, and now make French Roast Decaf. I usually make 4-6 cups at a time using both the Bold and "1-4 cups" settings. Always comes out delicious.
