It's beautiful and the coffee tastes great! I like that there are options for the warming plate heat settings. We keep it on medium and it stays pretty hot.

We have had nothing but issues with our Cuisinart coffee maker. Our first one died after not even two years. We would pour the water in the reservoir and it leaked out the back. Fortunately is was warranted and we got a new one about two months ago. Now the coffee pot stops while brewing then starts up again. I know this one is going to have the same fate as our first one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
