Not since my last good coffemaker, a Cuisinart 12-cup model, have I had the rich, bold tasting coffee that I like. The replacement, another brand, bought after many years of happy brewing, did not have the flexibility to dial-up the strength. With the Bold and 1~4 cup settings, my new 14-cupper delivers exactly what I want.

Nice coffee maker. Replaced a more expensive brand that died after 6 years. This one provides a similar good tasting cup of coffee. It will brew much more than my old one, eliminating the need for me to make a second pot later in the day. I make my coffee, then store it in a thermos to keep it warm, so can't speak to how well it holds a pot.

The combination of a cone shaped coffee filter, replaceable water filter, and brew water temperature produces a great cup of coffee. I paid more for this brand than I preferred, but the value is there.
