We had another coffee maker brand that served us well for nearly 8 years. It didn't compare to this Cuisinart 14 cup machine, though. The Cuisinart brewing tastes so much better. Looks great and it's easy to use. It has the extra water filter which really helps with the flavor. Solid build.

Brews great coffee and keeps it at a perfect temperature.Would be five stars except for one design flaw; when you open the lid to make another pot, it leaks water from condensation down the back of the coffee maker and onto the counter. Re-engineer the lid and opening.

I chose the cuisinart coffee maker to replace my cuisinart coffee maker. My first cuisinart lasted 12 plus years. It always brewed good coffee to the end. I like using the goldtone filters. I use my coffee maker daily and enjoy the coffee.
