Coffee tastes much better and hotter. Took me a little bit to figure it out but easy to use once you have it set up. It makes a growling type noise sometimes but I guess that’s normal.

This coffee maker had a strong plastic smell and taste. I have tried cleaning it multiple times. Also, the lid must be removed with by sticking your finger under it and pulling up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After initial break in, its perfect. The lid is a little awkward doesn't seat well on first try and plastic smell for about 5 days. Finally used 1 cup vinegar and 2 cups regular water and it solved the problem. Coffee is great + lots of options and very well made. This is my 4th Cuisinart and would not buy anything else.

this is our second cuisinart coffeemaker (same model) in less than 2 years. the first one died immediately after cleaning it. it smelled like it had caught on fire. the light for a cleaning reminder never worked. other than that. ... we shall see what happens with this one.
